| Storing grain in bulk using large polyethylene tubes/bags was first trialled over 10 years ago in Argentina. Today, the concept has most definitely found its place amongst worldwide grain growers, providing a solution for economical, versatile and efficient storage and handling of grain. Each bag can store up to 250 ton/9000 bushels in a sealed environment for up to 2 years. The bags are filled using a loading machine and are emptied by an extractor machine. |
The Grainstor bagging machine is a simple, easy to use bagger. It bags the grain at a rate of up to 250 ton/9000 bushels per hour. It has an effective over centre braking system, electric winch for a user friendly bag installation and many other features making it the 'logical' choice. |
The Grainstor extractor machine is also a simple, user friendly extractor with the ability to extract grain from the bags at a rate of up to 180 ton/6,600 bushels per hour. The Grainstor extractor is unique as it has an effective, innovative system to change it from transport to working mode (a 1 minute process), and a patented bag release system by means of a clutch in the roller for added safety. |
